Kudeep Bishnoi

Dear Friends and Fellow-bloggers,

I use this opportunity to raise and to share with you some issues that gravely concern us all. .
Beyond any doubt, the most serious issue we are facing today is that of inflation in prices of food commodities. Food is basic to survival, but here, under the Congress government, it has become next to impossible, for even a middle income class family to procure their daily meal. What to even speak of the low income and BPL (below the poverty line) population! I am enraged and bewildered that that we are still silent.

Rates of edible items and vegetables have increased manifold. Dal is selling at Rs. 90 per kg.; sugar at Rs. 50per kg. and to afford vegetable you need to shell out 100 bucks on a daily basis..is that possible? And to that the Congress government adds- “we are concerned about conman man”. Are they???

Now who is responsible? As soon as you ask this question the same old blame game starts .no one is ready to take resposibility.centre tries to shift their responsibility on states and states on centre. But does this blame game makes any difference to our current situation? Answer is a big NO.

Its not very long when people of Delhi ousted BJP government on onion price hike .And, WHAT has happened now??? Have we become immune to our own problems (because of problems overdose) so much that it does not bother us anymore? No one can save us if it is so. We choose our life, our government. Why are we passive and helpless to our own life, our own problems? . This is a question for you to think.

Some times I wonder that how this present government is functioning. Ministers have become insensitive to the common man’s plight. They are more concerned about their respective departmental report card. There seems no coordination between them.

Irresponsible statements from government have become a routine affair. At one hand they ask state governments to control hoarding and on other hand they say prices will rise further. Does the government not have even a basic commonsense that such irresponsible statement will encourage the hoarders and will worsen our already bad situation?

A committee formed by union government is suggesting another price hike for petroleum products for the benefit of the oil companies’ health without showing any concern about common man’s health.

Why do they not understand that this current petroleum product pricing policy is big factor for inflation? As soon as you increase these prices, the transportation cost goes up which results in price hike of essential commodities and food items. But this is only one part of the story. Now when you decrease the petroleum prices the increased prices of essential commodities and food items does not come down to previous level.

My question is who is booking profit? Ofcourse industries and few already ‘fat’people.who is responsible for this? If the government is doing this unknowingly? If yes then government has no right to be in power they should better resign, and if they are doing it knowingly they should apologies to whole nation as this is a crime towards society.

Much sadly, this government believes in providing a mobile phone set to each and every hand, television in every household, but not food, a better life to all! You cannot be fooled by the fact that it is the interest of the mobile phone companies, television companies and definitely NOT YOUR betterment as a common man.

Is this the India we want? Is this the development we want? Still you want to remain silent? Again these are few questions for you to think.
